Among the disorders covered by this report are angina pectoris, cardiac arrhythmia, heart failure, hypertension, and myocardial infarction. Among the covered surgical procedures are coronary artery bypass graft surgery surgery, cardiac resynchronization therapy, congenital heart defect repair, femoropopliteal bypass and stenting, pacemaker/implantable cardioverter defibrillator and ventricular-assist device implantation, percutaneous coronary intervention, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, peripheral atherectomy, and thrombectomy/ thrombolysis.

Procedure volumes forecasts are for the years 2010-2016, with aggregate figures for the EU countries of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the U.K. as well as for the U.K. alone. Disease incidence and prevalence figures are for the year 2010.
