“Investment In Innovation (In3):  A Preview of 
Early-Stage Medical Technology Companies”

 

This two-day event highlighted emerging technologies being developed by 54 small, mostly privately-held medical technology companies seeking partnering and/or investment. The meeting drew an attendance of over 270 senior executives from the investment community and major medical technology, biopharmaceutical, biotech, and other companies.

The forum provided focused overviews by a senior executive 
from each company, followed by the opportunity to meet one-on-one in private breakout rooms.

Catharsis Medical Technology, Inc. -- information technology products for real time monitoring of drug-drug, drug-disease, drug allergy, and drug dosing

CathEffects, LLC -- electrophysiology mapping catheters, mapping systems, and ablation catheters for cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis and therapy

Cortek, Inc. -- lumbar and cervical spinal fusion technologies

Derma Sciences -- wound management, wound closure and catheter securement

Endologix -- minimally invasive stent technology for abdominal aortic aneurysm

ExoGenesis Biomedical Corporation -- gas cluster ion beam processing for surface modification of implantable medical devices
