A Preview of Early-Stage Medical Technology Companies

San Francisco, California, June 21-23, 2006

This event highlighted emerging technologies being developed by more than 80 small, mostly privately-held medical technology companies seeking strategic partners and/or investment.  The meeting was attended by hundreds of senior-level decision-makers from the investment community and major medical technology, biopharmaceutical, biotech, and other companies.

Coverage included presentations on a range of advanced technologies and clinical areas.

The forum provided focused overviews by a senior executive from each company, followed by the opportunity to meet one-on-one in private breakout rooms.

Track 1:  Cardiovascular and Peripheral Vascular Diagnostics & Therapeutics.

Track 2:  Orthopedics & Spine.

Track 3:  Other High-Growth Technologies, including Drug Delivery, Gastrointestinal,
General Surgery, Imaging, Metabolic Disorders, Neurology, Oncology,
Ophthalmology, Tissue Engineering, and Uro/Gynecology, among others.
